Micah and Tyler were the perfect fit for this styled New York couple photoshoot. Plus, I had a great time working with some of my favorite creative friends.

Reed and Nick wanted to do a grunge photoshoot together. Something that really tapped into their essences as individuals and as a couple.

Joni + Garret asked if I’d be interested in a backyard photo session with them. I was stoked, and I loved getting to know them as a couple.

I like challenging myself. I like challenging the couples I work with too. Challenge necessitates creativity, and creativity makes better photos. The challenge here was posing with a lack of elements. After all, there wasn’t much to work with in this desert photoshoot for the couple, Stacy and Kevin.

The desert carries with it the idea of things being harsh and rundown. There’s beauty in the rundown, in the unforgiving. When Vic and Aaron reached out to me, this was the look I wanted to create for them. A photoshoot in the desert doesn’t have to be way out in nowhere though. For Vic and Aaron’s shoot, we chose an area on the fringes of civilization, an area the desert had made its own.

Ashly texted me the other day and showed me a photo of Forrest mowing - I said I’d be right there. I love doing these lifestyle photos that incorporate real-life things that couples do.

This shoot was so fun (aren’t they all though) One of my absolute favorite shops in Arizona is Buckhorn Vintage in Mesa.

When I delivered the preview Hailee told me Zac was tearing up. That he hadn’t had photos of him that he loved so much. Which of course made me a mess. Being able to provide someone with photos of themselves they love that much is the best feeling.

This session was one of my favorite styled shoots I’ve done. Typically when I do a styled shoot it’s because I was either asked by another creative or I have a vision in my head, this was a vision. When I lived in NYC I saw how they handled trash.

Niki and Matt have such an ethereal feel to them, this location was perfect for it. Just soft, delicate, and lots of those intimate cuddles. I had just met them in the parking lot of a gas station minutes before this shoot.

People will say it’s a styled session, but I just have cool friends. Their Tucson garage is a place I always told them would be perfect to capture because it’s where they spend most of their time. Damien works on motorcycles and Alyssa is his wing woman. I love their americana vibes. Xoxo. Gossip girl.

Jonnie and Garret came all the way from Phoenix, AZ to spend their anniversary in the city. When they asked me to capture them it was obviously no question. It was so fun getting to hang with them again and honestly all we did was walk around, take the subway, hang out on some roof tops, and eat pizza and it was perfect.

Another beautiful and intimate shoot with these lovely honeys. They came dressed for the occasion and the photos did not disappoint.

Nick and I spent the day adventuring around Iceland together… one of our most favorite places to shoot and explore.

All the retro vibes of this awesome shoot featuring the most rad couple… Ali and Tyler. We too much fun and had a hard time stopping for the day once the sun began to set.

Arizona has a special place in my heart so I was honored to shoot this intimate session with this couple in the beautiful Phoenix landscape.

Utah was the perfect backdrop for capturing an intimate couples shoot with Jake and Hayley on this hazy romantic morning.

A quick home shoot with Olivia and Sean to celebrate their new chapter of moving to Seattle, Washington. We shot directly in their cute vintage studio apartment creating a more intimate and personal setting for the couple.
