Love on a Lawn Mower, Colorado Mountains

Sometimes it’s just about real life. 

Ashly texted me the other day and showed me a photo of Forrest mowing - I said I’d be right there. I love doing these lifestyle photos that incorporate real-life things that couples do. Just because you’re married doesn’t mean your time with me is over!

Forrest and Ashly bought this little fixer-upper in the mountains of Colorado, our mini-session was a fun, in-home way to preserve it. They have such incredible land and tend to spend a lot of time in their yard, so it was a no-brainer to shoot there. Actually, I was the one that shot their engagement session and wedding! One of my favorite things about my job is when couples come back to me to continue documenting their life journey.

While slightly unexpected, utilizing the lawnmower in their lifestyle shoot was just the icing on the cake and gave us a behind-the-scenes look at their relationship.
