Stylish and Sustainable Los Angeles Wedding at the Smog Shoppe
Kait and Luke have this incredible, constant playful energy, and it made their wedding at The Smog Shoppe in Los Angeles a total blast. They knew when they were planning it that they wanted their wedding to have a very Cali vibe, and the Smog Shoppe was the perfect spot, with a great balance of open airiness and industrial grit. That stunning greenery wall for the ceremony backdrop made all the difference.
Motherhood in the Fields: A Floral Family Photo Session
I had shot Aly’s maternity photoshoot when baby Finley was still inside momma, so I was so excited when Aly reached out for family photos. When I mentioned to her this pastel idea with the baby’s breath she was so on board, and I knew Stephanie at Flower Disco was the perfect girl to make it happen. This floral family photo session was born.
“Flower Humanz”: Creative Grunge Couple Shoot
This creative grunge couple shoot was born out of the desire to focus on couple posing, so we deliberately kept it simple. I chose literally a random field behind a business parking lot in Phoenix, AZ, and we brought a stool to help play with heights and levels. Charity and James wore white underwear and matching white shirts to get some color contrast into the palette.
Wild Weekend Ranch Wedding in Granby, Colorado
One couple, 300 horses, and an entire ranch for the weekend! With every detail planned out perfectly, Carly and Elliot’s wild weekend ranch wedding was a sight to see - and shoot.
Outdoor couples session in Denver, Colorado
Ashly + Forrest wanted something different for their engagement session and I was obviously here for it. As much I love getting creative for shoots, I only ever want to make it about my couple. So I incorporate things that make them, them.
Buckhorn vintage shoot in Mesa, Arizona
This shoot was so fun (aren’t they all though) One of my absolute favorite shops in Arizona is Buckhorn Vintage in Mesa.
After the wedding
Luis and Jasmine and their after wedding hotel party. This was fun to shoot because I feel like this is one of the best times of the entire wedding day when the party's over and you go back to your hotel with your new husband or wife and soak it all in.
In home couples session Los Angeles, California
Carly and Elliot … my little LA lovers. Both so smart and creative and to say I immediately fell in love with them is … true.
Retro Garage Couples Session in Tucson Arizona
People will say it’s a styled session, but I just have cool friends. Their Tucson garage is a place I always told them would be perfect to capture because it’s where they spend most of their time. Damien works on motorcycles and Alyssa is his wing woman. I love their americana vibes. Xoxo. Gossip girl.
Badass Motorcycle Engagements in Arizona
So we were suppose to shoot in the desert in Tucson with some cacti … then I drove past this random field and knew this would be perfect, and it so was. His bike in that beautiful soft grass, ugh. I could hang these on my wall.
Industrial Fall Wedding In Denver
Ok so these two have the best style. They are both photographers for brands so it was a whole lot of pressure capturing their day, but holy heck was I honored they picked me. They are the sweetest most authentic people I have worked with with huge grateful hearts. This was also the first wedding I got to work with one of my favorite florists and she completely blew us all away!
Brooklyn New York Rooftop Wedding
And here are my little cat loving babes on their wedding day!! They picked one of my favorite venues in NY, a roof top garden over looking Manhattan.
Timeless Boulder Colorado Engagements
I know, timeless is such an old lady word but that’s the vibe I was getting and I’m all about it. This session gives me a little bit of Wes Anderson vibes with a touch of little house on the prairie. Also, ok Liz, yes I see you with those hair goals.
Moody Castle Wedding in Wales
Definitely the most epic ceremony site I have shot at. This old castle in Wales was something you only see in movies. But honestly what was so awesome was to see all the friends and family that came to celebrate Jay and Emily. They were all from the states so it was quite a trek. I always love that about smaller destination weddings and getting to see their closest friends and family make the trip just to celebrate love.
Wild and Bohemian St. Lucia Elopement
Ok this elopement takes the cakkkke. Laura and Josh came all the way from Tennessee to elope and it involved hiking to some epic views to say their vows, skateboard rides, and ending with a jump in the pool.
Coastal Mendocino California Wedding
One of my favorite weddings ever. I had never been to Mendocino .. or heard of it for that matter .. and oh my lannnta did this place blow me away. It was such a California hidden gem. Lauren and Andy had such a perfect wedding day from start to finish. The details were perfect. The florals … oh my gosh the florals. They are both such a fun couple and it showed with their details. Strawberries in the bouquet, doobies for dessert, home made hot sauce for guest gifts, and of course a queso bar.
Snowy Mountain Elopement in Estes Park
Their elopement in Rocky Mountain National Park was honestly one of my favorites to witness. It was just them (and me third wheeling). They read their vows to each other which brought them both to tears and ended the day exploring the most beautiful parts of the park.
