Annie & Mike's Iceland Wedding Photos

For those who want something different. I guess that could be a tagline for me and my work. I just think of it as art and connecting with others, bringing their innermost selves and visions to life. I don’t know if that’s different, but I know Annie and Mike were looking for something different. That’s how we all wound up in Iceland taking some Iceland wedding photos. This is what happened.

The Beginning Of The Story

Both Annie and Mike live in the heart of NYC (New York City). Annie has her own clothing company, and Mike’s in business.

But they wanted something completely different for their wedding. They loved everything Iceland had to offer when it came to scenery, so they went with it. I went with it too, and I’m glad I did.

Annie And Mike’s Iceland Wedding Photos

When I started my photography journey, I never thought I’d end up in Iceland of all places. I’ve shot at a castle, the Smog Shoppe, and plenty of other unusual locations, so I’m not surprised I ended up taking some Iceland wedding photos though.

But it doesn’t matter where I am. I take what I do very seriously. I deliver for all my clients, including Annie and Mike.

Before their wedding, we took the time to scope out and find spots they would really like for their Iceland wedding photos. If you get the chance, go and see Iceland. It’s worth just driving around and checking out its landscapes.

I truly loved exploring with the couple and having the freedom to drive around and stop wherever felt right to us. Shooting at those spots on the day with Annie and Mike decked out in their wedding outfits felt majestic.

Some of my favorites were the shots we took in front of a waterfall. Especially the one where the rainbow showed up.

There were some others where they stood on these hexagon-shaped rock formations that I liked too. There was also the one where they were running hand-in-hand on the grass toward another waterfall. Then there were the ones with them on the beach with their daughter.

It’s hard to choose favorites when there are so many good ones.

An Intimate Iceland Wedding

The wedding itself was special too. I loved how so many of their family members flew in for the event. Because it took place in a small wooden building, it felt very warm and intimate, especially since so much of it was lit with candles.

Their daughter was cute too. It was rare to see Annie and Mike without her close by. She definitely stole the show in a few of their Iceland wedding photos, but that was perfectly okay with them.

Final Thoughts

Whether you’ve got Iceland wedding photos in mind or photos somewhere else, I’m your girl. I’m always down for something different, tagline or not. And I’m down to work with you to figure out what’s going to work best for what you’re looking for.

So, let me know what you need, and let’s start our journey together. Australia anyone?
